On November 9, the Division for Global Communication and Social Change of the International Communication Association held an online workshop for first time paper reviewers. Led by division chair, Chris Paterson, vice-chair, Saba Bebawi, and the student and early career representative, Youngrim Kim, the workshop provided guidance on the paper selection process and tips as to what is most needed in a review.
All those who submitted a paper to the division will be asked to review at least one paper. This can be done by going to the ICA submission site. We also encourage you to frequently check the Message Centre in the paper submission system after signing in to make sure that you get messages from the division about the reviewing process.
As a reviewer, we kindly ask you to set appropriate time for reviewing papers and proposals between Friday 5th November and Friday 26th November 2022. As our division aims for three reviews per submitted paper or proposal, we kindly ask you to expect to review approximately 3-5 papers or proposals.
